Anyone have any input in the TDI Advanced Deco Nitrox and Deco route versus PADI's Tec course? The feedback I've been getting is that instructors teach the same things the same way and it really comes down to the learning materials, which is PADI is better known for. I want to start a tech course and I'm trying to figure out which to go with. I already found the instructor I want to use, and he teaches both PADI and TDI. He says it really doesn't matter which agency I go with since he's going to teach me the same things the same way either way. Any thoughts?

Hey gang, is anyone planning on taking any diving courses this summer? If so what are you taking and what do you hope to get out of it? I thought I'd pull one off the shelf and see what training people are interested in. How about you lurkers ... any input?

I was digging around in the dive locker and thought I'd pull this one out and give it shake. does anyone have any new thoughts on this topic. Does anyone have a good Tech course story or Tech dive info they'd like to share.

I was keen to take Advanced Nitrox and Deco with a view to getting a rebreather, but that's taken a bit of a nose dive recently. In short, it's costly and I'm getting old. I'm not even diving recreationally regularly and I live in Bermuda. The only time I dive now is on annual vacations to Belize, Caribbean, etc.
Massive respects to those that do tech diving. A female colleague of mine at work just got her rebreather cert and has a huge smile on her face. If I was thirty years younger, I'd be the same way.
If you do want to do it, do it today and don't delay.

Thanks for chiming in and especially for the push, Simon. Best wishes to you both in beautiful Bermuda!
