I would LOVE to dive BHB Saturday! I am on the road right now but will get my paperwork in order ASAP. I look forward to some amazing diving in South Florida again...one of my favorite places in the world to dive!

Alan has discovered that Walt Sterns and Pura Vida Dive Shop will be giving a presentation on the schooling Goliath Groupers and we can attend! We'll RSVP for everyone who says they are interested so let us know soon as seating will be limited.

These fish are hugeamongousgigantificouslylarge and if you are calm and swim slow, will let you extremely close.

It’s that time of the year again! The goliath groupers have begun their yearly aggregation to the wrecks and reefs of Palm Beach. Experiencing these amazing aggregations is an incredible sight to behold, but do you know what is really going on? Do you know the history behind these leviathans?

Join us on August 22nd for our Social Night event as our guest speaker, local dive expert, Walt Stearns, shares his years of knowledge working alongside scientists. This presentation is certain to make you a much more educated goliath grouper diver.

Now we're talking!! (Pun intended)

But I am still gonna schlepp my only wetsuit along, since during last year's trip on a couple of the fantastic deeper dives in Jupiter we experienced a rare thermocline of around 67F.

Huzzah! We just received word from Craig with Starfish Enterprise that five spots on the Saturday 23 August PM trip which were previously booked with another group are now released and ours to book!!

Anyone interested in joining us on the 23 August PM trip needs to post their wish to join here in the Best of Florida trip topic. The first five responses get the spots! Please review posts dated 19 August and later to see if all spots are taken BEFORE posting a reservation request and paying.

Payment should be made via the SingleDivers.com Payment Gateway (PG) using trip code "Best of Florida", then "23 Aug PM Trip" in the Miscellaneous Charges block Description field and 65.00 in the corresponding Amount field. If rental equipment is desired use the next Description Block "Rental Gear" and based on the rates in the Trip Topic, the total required in the next Amount field. THEN include equipment specifics in the Comments field at the bottom of the PG page.

Because of the mix of regular (typical) member trip process and local South Florida ad hoc submissions, managing the per trip lists have been something of a nightmare That said, based on Kamala's master list a few days ago here are those listed on the original limited seating 23 August PM trip:
