HELP! I'm locked out...I can't log into the site. Please help!

Q. Why am I locked out?

 

A. Most likely its due to the merging of our old website with our new website. We needed to keep the same screen name and password for both systems and new security measures we must follow require us to have you log into the forums and/or the shopping cart EACH time you wish to use them. In some cases this will log you out of the other system/part of the site.

 

Q. How do I fix it?

 

A. If you have not logged into the new system at all.... then you will use your login name from the forums (aka old system) and your password from the forums to log in. NOTE: If your log in name and your screen/display name on the site were different you will get a pop up box that says... The new system does not allow a different login name from your screen name so going forward you MUST LOG IN WITH YOUR SCREEN NAME. Your password is not affected by this so remains the same. In other words...the first time you log into our new site (characterized by the amazing pictures and real menus across the top and 3 purple boxes that say About Us, Trips, Socialize) you will log in with whatever your login was in the forums and if you had a different login then your user name...going forward you will login to BOTH systems with your screen name. 

 

Q. Why did you have to change the way we log in?

 

A. Our new website incorporates a highly sophisticated shopping cart, help desk, etc while still keeping our traditional forums. We affectionately refer to the forums as the 'old system' and the shopping cart and new homepage as the 'new system'. In reality they are all one big site BUT with separate logins due to advanced security measures we must take to protect your personal and financial information now that you can buy, pay for and do your documentation online. Combining the sites forced us to only allow one login for each so we had to choose the screen name aka display name since that is what everyone knows you by.

 

Q. So I did all that and I still can't get logged in. I've even requested a new password and/or submitted the I've forgotten my user name and NOTHING works?  :banghead:

 

A. Simply click on the red HELP DESK button in the upper right if in the forums or click on the SUPPORT link from the main menu if on the homepage and open a help ticket. Or you can send an email to admin@singledivers.com or use the contact us button on the home page. The preferred method is the help ticket so we can better respond to you but we'll reset your info and get back to you via any method you contacted us by and get back to you as quickly as we can. (Please do not facebook me as I do not check messages there frequently enough to be able to assist you. The help desk or email is MUCH FASTER!)

 

Q. What if this does not work?

 

A. So far luckily it has fixed the problem EVERY time we've reached this point in resolving the login issue. If it does not we'll work tirelessly until we figure it out.
