thank you all and great advice to keep my eyes on the Asia/Pacific trips. Definately great option for the more complicated trips like liveaboards. palau and rajah are on my list for this year!
packing now....have some small new gear I look forward to trying out, like a reel and a writing pad for macro thingies.
