1. San Salvador, Bahamas NYE 2012/2103       Where I first realized the difference between a vacationer that dives and a diver that's on vacation! Started my quest to be a REAL diver and made life long friends!

2. Bonaire    April 2013    Chez J was a hit! Leading shore dives for the first time. A real diver was forging!

3. Roatan     October 2013     Brought my two best friends and introduced them to my dive addiction. A lionfish assassin was born! Solo diver gets certified

4. Saba/St. Kitts NYE 2013/2014      My first live aboard experience and first deep water open ocean diving. 5 dives a day! Hardcore free falls onto pinnacles in the middle of the ocean!

5. Maldives  March 2014    Second live aboard trip and the most amazing diving of my life! Manta after manta! Oh and met my future wife, so a pretty great trip!

6. Little Cayman  August 2014   Bloody Bay Wall! If you don't know, ask somebody!

7. Galapagos  NYE 2014/2015   It's everything you've ever heard and more. Hundreds of hammerheads, whale sharks, dolphins, seals, turtles, and more! ADRENILINE PUMPING RIPPING CURRENTS!!

8. Bonaire   Sept 2015  So good had to do twice!

9. Dominica  May 2016    STAY TUNED!!!

Thanks Kamala!

I think of myself now as a REAL diver thanks to you and SD! I've made many wonderful friends, got the opportunity to learn from so many great people, and oh yeah and meeting my wife on one of your trips was pretty special too lol!

The older trip dates should be taken with a hefty dash of sea salt - tried sifting through the dusty archives on my mind and all I got for the effort was a sneezing fit....

1) NC Graveyard of Atlantic July 2010
2) Turks & Caicos Liveaboard Sept 2010
3) Belize NYE 2010/11
4) NC Graveyard of Atlantic July 2011
5) Best of Florida July 2013
6) Saba - St. Kitts Liveaboard NYE 2013/14
7) Best of Florida Aug 2014
8) Best of Florida July 2015
9) Belize Liveaboard Nov 2015
10) Cozumel NYE 2015/16

Too many memories to choose a favorite; it has been a fantastic series of adventures with an enviable list of characters :teeth: and mentors :cool1: met along the way. Looking forward to additions for a long time to come. Thanks Wenchie :thankyou: :blond: and keep 'em coming! :diver: *bubbles*

My list is short...I've only been able to make the old North Carolina Wreck and Shark dives.  Those were always fun.

There was a time when I would not only remember each of the trips, I would also remember when they were.  That was when I was doing more diving.  What I conclude from that is that my dumb brain cells, the large majority, must absorb nitrogen while the smart brain cells do not.  My dumb brain cells must need to be preoccupied with narcosis, to allow the few remaining smart ones to function uninterrupted, and that is not happening now.  That said, here is what is coming to mind.

North Carolina wrecks

Cooper river

Bonaire

Cooper river

Truk / Palau

Best of Florida

Truk / Palau

I think I am suffering from nitrogen deprivation.

Each wreck has a tale to tell about its life and its demise.

If you are observant while diving in dark places listen to the account each has to tell, You cannot come away unaffected.
