APPROVED SINGLEDIVERS.COM TRIP OFFERING...IF WE CAN GET 12 DIVERS FOR FLORIDA WRECK TREK NOV 25th - DEC 2nd!!!

Florida Wreck Trek (http://www.fla-keys....ving/wrecktrek/) - 9 wrecks in 7 days!
The Florida Wreck Trek contains the following wrecks: Spiegel Grove, Duane, Benwood, Eagle, Thunderbolt, Adolphus Busch Sr., Cayman Salvager, Joe's Tug and the Vandenberg- These are some of the best wrecks in the keys, and any one of them makes a great dive trip! The captain of the spree live aboard can do this trip for $1995pp, from November 25th to Dec 2nd, provided we can get at least 12 people to sign up. The ship will hold 24, so that's the limit to the number of people that can attend. I've spoken to Kamala, and she's worked with captain Frank before, so booking the trip should be easy if we can get enough people to commit to going.
If you're interested, please let me or Kamala know as soon as possible, because we have to have the minimum 12 people booked before we can get the trip confirmed.

The tourist development council has a special dive log (see the url above) and if we can do this before Jan 1, 2014 there are extras:
FROM the website:
Dive FIVE wrecks — one in each region of the Keys — and receive a personalized collage of Keys wrecks, suitable for framing.
Dive all NINE wreck dives included in the passport and you qualify as an entry for one of several grand prizes, including merchandise, dive equipment and Florida Keys dive-and-stay lodging packages.

So let's go!

Wreck trek sounds awesome! Unfortunately my dance card is full between Roatan next week and Saba in December. But it's definitely the type of trip I would want to do in the future!

Definitely interested in this type of trip. I just can't swing the time off from work of the finances during your proposed dates.

A question - Isn't the spree the same company that runs out of Galveston to do Flower Garden? If so, expect camping at sea.

I think you're getting confused with the MV Fling which does the Flower Gardens trips, only. I believe, the MV Spree & Fling used to be affiliated under 'Gulf Coast Diving' then a number of years ago there was an ownership change. I believe, Spree now primarily operates out of Key West with cruises to Dry Tortugas, this type of Keys wreck trip, and some Bahamas destinations. If you check out the current issue of Sport Diver you'll see an article about Flower Gardens. It's been several years since SingleDivers has made a trip aboard Spree and even longer since an FG Fling trip. Wish I could go, but I'm not a wreck penetrator, but do like to fool around on the outside [seems like I've seen that on a t-shirt somewhere].

The Spree used to do the TX Flower Gardens which is how we met them. SD has not actually done a large full boat Fling trip but rather a few regional small group trips on the Fling.

And yes this is RV'ing at sea... Blackbeard's is camping. ;)

This is very tempting. I have the days off, but have a few other things that could potentially happen this same week. Put me down for a definite maybe. I`m still waiting on Kamala`s husband to get back to me about some training opportunities. If that doesn`t work out, I`d be very interested in this trip.

I was on the Spree one year ago for a Dry Tortugas trip.

It was very nice.

The Spree is an awesome boat and Frank and Mel are the best! I wish I knew about this opportunity before I invited a houseful of people over for Thanksgiving dinner, because I would definitely be there.
