Hi and :cool1: to SD! We have several members in your area, so you should have some new dive buddies soon. Enjoy the board - and check out our upcoming trips. You can click on the link in my signature. We'd love to have you join us on one so we can meet you in person!!
As for me, I'm feeling pretty scubalicious.

Welcome, there are quite a few divers in the NOVA area, most of them dive in the Quarry. 50-60 a weekend easy. I would go to one of the local dive shops sign up for a simple quick class and you will meet lots of people out there. There are SD happy hours every few months in DC.

I personally don't go out there, did it once, never again. Cold Muddy water isn't worth it, if all you have is a bus or two to look at down below. (yes call me a snob)

So, if my computer is flashing 212 .. 212 .. 212 does that mean I can't go any deeper?

:cool1: Welcome to SingleDivers, So are you going to give us some history on the broken flipflop? I don't dive in the Virginia area but have been known to pass through the area on the way to NC or Florida, hope to see you on a dive sometime. Ray

Hi brockenflipflop89 :cool1: to SingleDivers.com

Just like Brian, I don’t like to dive Lake Millbrocks anymore, but Lake Rawlings is great (only 2 ½ to 3 hours from Reston). I will let you know when I go again. It will not be soon. Two weeks ago my regs were stolen at the lake :D I bought a new Scubapro set, but have to wait till my LDS gets the order in. Therefore I will probably dive Rawlings in October after I return from my Indonesia trip.

You should also check out the trips on this site. There are always a lot of fun divers on these trips.
