Yes Harry the numbers I gave you for 3 dives a day + unlimited shorediving were exactly like the pkg days so yes all inclusive. They will go down a bit but not much for only 2 dives a day.

IMPORTANT TRIP UPDATE & NEED YOUR INPUT:

Hey gang the Lembeh resort has contacted us regarding our upcoming trip and has offered us several options to fit our last day of diving in with 3 boat dives. (It seems doing 3 boat dives is not normal and they are worried about fitting 3 in on the transfer day so want to suggest some options for us to consider).

On Nov 10th we transfer to Lembeh from Manado. Here are our choices:

1. xfer around 10am, arrive in Lembeh and check into rooms around 12 and then dive after lunch around 2:45 for 1 boat dive. Then we'll do the other 2 boat dives for this day on Nov 14th the last day.

2. xfer around 7 -7:30am, arrive in Lembeh 9:30 (rooms not ready yet) but luggage to be stowed safely and taken to rooms while we go do 2 or 3 dives. (If we only get 2 dives done then we do the last dive on 14th)

And while option 2 implies we can get all 3 in on our transfer day, the resort is not 100% certain we can make that happen and therefore needs to have a back up plan in place. And remember if you opt for option #2 and we DON'T get the 3rd dive in...we need to do the 3rd dive on the 14th. If we want a refund it must be done now and can not be done at the resort. -ww

I'd prefer Option # 1, but am really indifferent. Whatever the group decides is great with me. Since I'm planing to stay a couple extra days, losing a dive or two on the 10th is no big deal. Besides there is always shore diving.

However this works out, just adjust my additional dives on the 14th and 15th to account for the rollover dives from the base trip.

For those who have not been to Lembeh before, you usually do 2 dives on the day before you fly out. Since the Silkair flight is at 1:50pm, mostly all the resorts offer two dives in the morning on the day before you fly. This still leaves you with 24+ hours of time after diving is complete before your flight. This is the normal routine.

On my trip to Lembeh last month, we did the usual 2 morning dives on the day prior to departing, had lunch, a 2 & 3/4 hour massage treatment, disassembled cameras and packed them, toted rinsed dive gear up to the room (as it was raining all afternoon and evening) to dry in the air conditioning (which it was all dry by breakfast), and still had time for cocktails and a wonderful dinner. Interval before flying was ~ 25 hours for us and no need to skip any of the dives we paid for. (especially good as our dive times that morning were 89 minutes and 97 minutes with the highlight of finding a lovely hairy frogfish (our mission), lemon gobies with eggs, various octopi, shrimps, pygmy seahorses, etc) , and my buddies times were even longer than mine!!!)

So unless you feel the need for ~ 40 hours before flying, you will have plenty of time before flying.

September 3rd Nitrox Deadline:

Please note that I must let the resort know by Sept 3rd the final numbers who want nitrox ESPECIALLY for the first resort as they subcontracting the nitrox in for us.

If you want it we need to have you request it AND pay for it as I have to pay on 9-3 as well. Please let us know or it won't be available for you. Kamala

Ok gang I have figured out how to arrange the transit hotel in Singapore in advance and full pricing including taxes, exchange rates etc.

Now that we have a firm price we can sign up for what we want accordingly. And while some of you have requested 3 to a room we will honor it if we can get 2 others of the same gender willing to stay together AND we don't force someone to be a single due to creating a triple.

So if you are FLEXIBLE and willing to do a single room or a double or a triple AT THE SINGAPORE AIRPORT...let us know so we can help ensure everyone has a place to get caught up on rest in the accommodations they would prefer most.

Hi Kamala,

I’ve finished making my reservations so I can tell you that I will fly into SFO fm San Diego on Southwest flight #335 which is scheduled to arrive at 10:25 am.

On the transfer fm Manado to Lembeh #1 sounds the most relaxed, and as long as my wetsiut dries..... couldn’t we also substitute a night dive or two?? Either of the other options are also agreeable to me.

I have committed to Nitrox, tell me what I owe.

Airport transit lounge: inbound, double or triple is fine, single is ok also if it works that way.
outbound, just a chair and a shower unless you need someone to share.

I trust when all this gets booked that I can check my Singapore Air reservation for correct food and seating??

Southwest does not interline with any airline. A friendly reminder that you'll have to collect your bags in SFO and take them to the Singapore Airlines counter and recheck them in and go through TSA again.
