I assume that the cost will be the same regardless of which day I return as long as I take the the same flights as the group uses from Manado to SFO, i.e., MI 273 & SQ16.

I understand that MI273 (MDCSIN) only flies on M/W/F & Sat. Based on the costs that I have to date, most likely I will leave MDC on 11/17 as currently planned, overnight at the transit hotel in SIN and return to SFO/IAD on 11/18. I'll skip the extra day in SIN. I'd rather dive than see SIN.

Southwest does not interline with any airline. A friendly reminder that you'll have to collect your bags in SFO and take them to the Singapore Airlines counter and recheck them in and go through TSA again.

It was more a reminder to make sure you have enough time to do the collect, change terminal, recheck the bags -- as a reminder to make sure you have enough time between your flights to do those things rather than the $$.

It has come to my attention that when you book the Silk Air flight with the int'l portion of the trip on one record you are granted quite a bit of leeway. However if the Silk Air ticket is purchased separately (and the cheapest way to do that is via their online website) then you MUST TRAVEL WITH THE SAME CREDIT CARD YOU BOOKED THE TICKET ON AS IT IS NOW AN ADDITIONAL ID VERIFICATION AND BOARDING CAN BE AND HAS BEEN DENIED IF YOU DO NOT HAVE THE CREDIT CARD YOU BOOKED THE FLIGHT ON WITH YOU.

NOTE: This does NOT apply to people who are having us book the entire trip for them...it ONLY applies to those who just need Silk Air namely:

3. Scot Scot doing SD trip but returning Singapore on Nov 21st. Mea culpa Scot!

So it is suggested that you book the tickets directly via Silk Air's website which is how the consolidator will book them for you only she will have to charge a $30 booking fee AND you need to fill out a credit card authorization form enabling her to book the ticket on your behalf.

If you wish to have her book the ticket for you pls either post or pm me and I will send you the multipage form for you to fill out and return and add $30 to your invoice or you can have her charge your credit card the booking fee.

Muktuk here after disappearing offline while chasing moose in Bristol Bay. Below are my travel preferences:

1. Transfer to Lembeh diving options
I like option #1 (one dive Nov 10, 2 dives Nov 14)

2. Nitrox
I'd like to dive nitrox at both Manado and Lembeh

3. Resort rooming choices
Preference is for D/O at both resorts. I am flexible and could do S/O at one resort if needed

4. Singapore hotel options
a.) Inbound Singapore: airport transit hotel option 4 or 5 (double or triple occupancy)
b.) Outbound Singapore: airport transit hotel option 3, 4, or 5 (single/double/triple occupancy)
