I have an old (past repairing) scubapro drysuit...does anyone have any ideas what to do with it...I don't really want to throw it in the land fill, if there is some sort of recycle or recovery program out there.

I have an old (past repairing) scubapro drysuit...does anyone have any ideas what to do with it...I don't really want to throw it in the land fill, if there is some sort of recycle or recovery program out there.
I've been holding on to my old drysuit trying to think another use for it as well. It's served me well over the years and would like to keep it around. The only idea I've come with so far is to cut it up and sew the pieces to make a waterproof seat cover for my wrangler.

Not a bad idea...maybe I could make a raincoat for my dog...it is the PNW after all!!!!!

In the past we have donted retired dive equipment to the Seattle Aquarium. Families use the items to play diver dress up and then interact with the divers in the tank. They have been interested in wetsuits, fins, BCs, (anything that hasn't been on someone's head or in someone's mouth). If the drysuit would be a useable item, you could remove your drysuit neck and wrist seals. I would recommend contacting the aquarium. Our contact of record was Jeff, an aquarium diver and biologist. It's worth a call.
