First off, I want to say that I love the changes to the forum! There are a lot of features that will be fun to explore! The IT guys did a great job.

However, I cannot find the old 'toggle' button, so I can switch between viewing code and viewing the result. As a TC, this is very handy so I can watch for the correct number of opening/closing code brackets.
Did we lose this feature, or is it right in front on me and I just don't see it?

Thanks for your help!

Nope it is not there. I think this is a good thing as now you can construct the page like a Word doc rather than an HTML page. Forcing people to use the built in routines to insert pics, colour text, etc. means you automatically get the right number of open and close brackets.

That being said, you CAN type in the open and close brackets manually like URL or QUOTE, but they disappear when displayed. Thats a good thing as it means you did it right. :D
Remember, email is an inefficient communications forum. You may not read things the way it was intended. Give people the benefit of the doubt before firing back... Especially if it is ME...! ;)

It looks like you can do one better than toggle between views. If you right click on the element of interest and select "inspect object" you will get another window with the html in it so you can see them both side by side. I like that myself

I was in "see all codes" mode when the site was updated, so that's what I was seeing on the new site on all posts I was reading. I did find the setting to change, so I could see the actual fonts, colors, and emoticons!

I went into Edit Profile, Settings, Posting Settings and checked Enable visual (RTE) editor

Voila! And best of all, this updated board works perfectly with the most current version of Firefox, so I can stay in this mode!!! :cheerleader:

Also, there is a setting in you profile to turn on a rich text editor to give you WYSIWYG editing and true cut and pastes of formatting.

Note: Rich Text Editor requires IE6+, Mozilla / Firefox 3.0+, Safari 4+, Google Chrome, or Opera 9+
