The BIG one!

Today the Queen Mary 2 arrived at Bonaire.
Its the worlds largest cruise ship with 2500 passengers (+ an other 400
crew
or so.....) Behind it is an other one with "just" 500 passengers.
Bonaire has just +/- 13.500 inhabitants, imagine the impact on a small
island like Bonaire.

The ship can be seen from all over the island. Its like flat building
is
added to it.
It moored right in front the Dive Inn (thats where I work part time).
And had four trips with our boat (looks like a flee against this
vessel...) bringing guests
to Klein Bonaire for some snorkeling and diving. Its nice to show them
our
beauty and see them surfasing all exited about the wonders they have
seen on
on one of the worlds best diving destinations. - Roger Willems
