:banghead: My BC has been giving me fit problems, that I did not notice when I first used it. Now I have discovered that the velro on the cumberbun is no good. It must have been slipping before, now it will not stay at all. Anyone have this problem, and have suggestions on fixing it.

Before you say buya BP/W I am planning on it, it's just not in the cards right now. Plus it's always nice to have spares... Sheesh and I only have 13 dives so far.

The first option that comes to mind is to replace the cummerbund if it is removable/replaceable. But, that might be a pricey option. The other idea is to go to a fabric center and see if they have velcro in the same type and size as your cummerbund velcro; if so, perhaps you could cut the stitches off your cummberbund's velcro and then sew the new velcro onto the cummberbund (or find someone to do it for you).

Regards,

Daryl

What kind of BC is it?

With only 13 dives, one would think it's still under warranty.

If you need sewing done on ballistic nylon or heavy webbing, most shoe repair places will do it for you. The sewing machines they have will punch right through it. The same places can often do luggage repair.
