Good luck with your tagging operation at Owens Beach. You should have a different tagging system than the Aquarium so why don't you just use those Sharpies and name each Sixgill (write fast!)? Maybe it would be safer to name them on their tail. :)

I don't know about that - I understand they have very sensative tails and can turn on their own tail or so some of my not-so-brilliant-in-the-moment dive buddies can attest to...

Maybe I would have a better chance distracting them with my dive buddy and slapping an SD sticker on their back - oo hey GG do you have a dive buddy picked out yet? :D
It's Winter time - you know you're a diver when you're scraping ice off your windshield INSIDE your vehicle...!

DG ~ I am buddyless on this event.

Do we dare buddy up? Is it possible for DG and GG to dive together????
I am willing to risk it if you are. :cheerleader:

It's about time! Game on! :bam:

I agree..
I know we have shared the same boat and been at the same dive site more than once.
I agree it is TIME we actually buddied up.

GAME ON sounds about right for the two of us. :welcome:

still planning on this dive event - any new people planning on joining us?

I will be there. If I survive the invasive tunicate clean-up at Sund Rock on Wednesday.

I am bringing my non-single dive buddy with me. But I could ditch him, quickly if need be. I can't stay for an evening dive, I have to bust out of there for a soccer game in the late afternoon.

Dove with one of the organizers of this event on Saturday ~ Wylerbear aka Georgia.
She is bringing a BBQ grill so if you want to bring something with you for lunch a grill will be there to use.
There will be a meat side and a veggie side.

Looking forward to seeing everyone who can make it out.

:welcome: to SD Tim (coachrenz)!!

We're glad you found us and hope you'll be able to make the REEF dives. Wonderful news that you are joining the invasive tunicate clean-up efforts! I know Janna will be very thankful for the help and as a local diver, I am thankful for the care! When you have a moment, it would be great if you posted an intro in our New to SingleDivers.com or Returning forum so other PNW divers and our onlin community can get to know you better and give you a proper SD welcome!

Yea, Egypt - rough life. Although, I'm not really complaining because I just got back from Cozumel.

What's the plan for this weekend, please? Thanks!

Well, it looks like I'm bailing too! I'm already diving in the morning and early afternoon, and it looks like this event has fizzled out. :banghead:

Look forward to the next event. If do another shark hunt, we could do it earlier in the evening now, since it gets dark so early. See ya...
