I really like Walter's 'pneumatic assisted evac' idea, I'm going to try it. I do not like to restrict fluid intake at all, as dehydration is thought to be a primary contributing factor to DCS. Also, if you're peeing clear it doesn't smell, at least not before you get home to wash it.
Funny though, I've never peed in my drysuit. I don't feel the urge to go nearly as bad... although there have been some mad jumping and hopping sessions after a two and a half hour deco before... LOL. I can't bring myself to install a P-valve, but I've heard of wearing Depends diapers.

(evil laughter)I'm not in the medical field, but just as a WAG, if someone can't breathe, doesn't unconsciousness soon follow?
not soon enough, my dear....not soon enough.....!!!!!

Sorry to challange your research but women do pee in their wetsuits they just don't always admit it to the guys. It's a physical thing not a gender thing.....
Surprise Surprise Surprise Sgt Carter. I'm shocked.

That doesn't sound like pee, it sounds like a discharge , I think you need to talk to TF or Doc about some antibiotics to clear that up.

In tropical, it's a bit easier to "check the prop", sans wetsuit.

But ninety percent of the time, I dive dry and I don't have a pee valve. It is fast run to the head when I get my gear off and I ALWAYS go before the dive (even if I don't think that I have to) if the boat has a head (wet or dry). Thank God that cold water doesn't stimulate bladder function like warm water.
Rabbit,
I fully agree on the coffee cramps and that is one thing that I cannot do even it a small marine head. Then it is a real run when the boat docks!
