My oldest child is buying his first home. He and his wife should be moved in by the end of October.
I think this year Thanksgiving will have to be at their new place in Bellingham.

I look forward to the 2.5 hour drive to get there and then the 2.5 hour drive to get back home.
I wonder if I could sneak off and just dive again this year?
Last years Thanksgiving dive weekend was wonderful.

I'm not sure how old your son is, gis_gal, but based on how young YOU are, that's quite the accomplishment in this day and (expensive) age! Congrats to your son and daughter-in-law! :cheerleader:

BTW, I LOVE Bellingham! If you get a chance, be sure to check out the two antique malls in downtown Bellingham. (If you're into that sort of thing, of course. :lmao:)

So close yet so far Colleen! You need to convince them that they need to spend Thanksgiving north of the border!

I'm off to Kentucky. My parent's recently moved there and the entire family will probably be there. It'll only be for a few days and I'll probably have enough work to keep me busy. At least I'll get a great meal out of it!

Looks like I will probably be at work and get home about 3pm. Too late to visit the family but Sandy and I will will have a quiet dinner by ourselves. Well... with two beggars at the table.. the dog and the cat!
We all must believe in something... I believe I'll have another beer
