Actually I hate to spoil the fun but the winner will be the first person to correctly guess regardless of format. It is only fair.

Now we are waiting for a few more clues from some of the other divers on the trip...

Still sticking to my original story...

:bam: And a good one it is! Now the question is whether it is fact or fiction!

No question in my mind! I know what I saw and no two pairs of eyes sparkled quite like the both of yours that night. :welcome:

Why thank you! Yes I was pleased that one of our out of town members would join us giving us yet another excuse to have an SD Happy Hour...but I think it is fair to say that the twinkle in my eye was no different than that of any out of town SDer joining us for a local event/hh/trip! Or for that matter any new 'in town' guest!

Seen a lot of Happy Hours in the last year and half...seen a lot of new members, returning members and out of town guests; but I still maintain that our visit from OTWdiver was just a bit different. More so given that I got more than just a momentary shoulder rub from our favorite ooohhh and aaaahhhh diver. On any other occasion I practically have to wedge my way in to feel the tips of his fingers for a fleeting moment.
Yeppers...there was definately a major distraction at that Happy Hour!

I'm staying my course on this one, feeling pretty confident I won't be derailed. If I do....well heck, it'll be a fun train wreck anyway! :bam:

Friday - Dive 1 - the Schurz
We tied up to the site, and the current was challenging. The sun was out and conditions above water were perfect. Below, the currents were pretty strong, ........

I just realized we left out the part about the 12 foot Sand Tiger that kept appearing on this dive, hoping someone would spear it some dinner.

Oh well...no one on this thread cares about the dives anymore anyway. :welcome:

never mind

Even though I only did One dive, I had a great time. Sandy got some pretty good picture of that shark. I thought it was kinda neat when the sun came out long enough for some of us to do another day of diving. I will definitely be back diving in this area again.

Thank you, Norm, for loaning me your pressure and depth gauge and always there lending a hand. I think this is the first trip that I didn't break a nail messing around with the bungee cord. I ordered some hooks and webbing to add Norm's Jon line to my rig. I hope your ankle is better soon.

Glad y'all had a good time on the trip!!!

Now - will SOMEONE PLEASE tell us WHO got engaged!? We're getting clues, anti-clues, hints, anti-hints, information, mis-information.... :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

We want to appropriately congratulate the new fiance(e)s! :)

But the Benevolent Rulers Number One are having so much fun with this. :cool2: Everything posted have been true quotes and observations...you have to follow the right reel and connect the dots.

I'll stop by Scubatoys for prizes tomorrow. :D

I really hate to deviate from the engagement guessing, but I have to, to say it was a great trip. This was my 3rd SingleDivers trip, and each of them have been fabulous. A big thanks to Kamala and everyone else invloved. The diving in NC is great, shipwrecks, history and sharks.

Now back to our regularly scheduled programming.
