Looking for some new ideas as far as where to go for Spring Break this year... I am going as a single female, with my teen daughter (17 yr. old) and more than likely one of her friends... We like the Caribbean and have been to some really nice places in the past years... Prefer all-inclusive resorts (one that will be fun for teens, not all young kids/families)... Somewhere that I can get some diving in, is of course high on the list...
Any suggestions???

Thanks!
Karen

What would you attempt to do if you knew you could not fail?

Since nobody has replied, I will give you an option: you can drop off your daughter and her friend at my house and go wherever you would like :thankyou: Just make sure you give me at least 24 hours notice before you come back to pick them up

Do you have a daughter that age, 17? So the idea is kind of a teenage spring break camp?
It's Winter time - you know you're a diver when you're scraping ice off your windshield INSIDE your vehicle...!

Once in a while, it is good to step back, take a breath, and remember to be humble. You'll never know it all - ScubaDadMiami. If you aren't afraid of dying, there is nothing you can't achieve - Lao-tzu. One dog barks at something, the rest bark at him - Chinese Proverb.

Hmmm.... Your response actually scares me :thankyou: I can only HOPE that I'm reading the WRONG things into it...
And ... Since I hadn't gotten a response, from anyone on this board, in time... With help of friends, etc... I have made my choice and even put a deposit down, on a trip to the Riviera Maya... Should be GREAT FUN!!! We are looking forward to it...

Hehe -- just jokin' yo (I would have to see pictures first, if I were to seriously consider)-- I guess I was successful if I scared you :) .

You will love the Riviera Maya. I suggest doing some cave training with the folks at Pro-Tec in Playa Del Carmen while you are there -- you will absotutely love it! Don't wuss out now and say you're not ready to cave dive...you'll love it.
