Hey divers! If you are a technical diver...or want to do your final technical dives on pristine walls and deep reefs/pinacles or how about the the exciting warm water wreck diver's dream...The Bianca C....Grenada is for you!

And in October Grenada will transform into a techincal divers's haven! So stay tuned for full details coming soon!

Update:

Grenada's technical diving offerings are in transition. The shop that has offered trimix and dubs is for sale. Not sure how that will play out. If one way we are 'all lights go'. If the other, then we'll still offer a technical weekend but it will not offer trimix.

Update:

This trip may be postponed to November due to the great white opportunity in October.

Also a number of you have asked that we do a tech trip to the Oriskany instead. This allows for people to bring the calibre gear they are accustomed to diving.

Please let us know if you prefer the Oriskany in FL or the Biance C in Grenada.

So will trimix and doubles be available? Also, what deco mix can be expected?

Hi Kamala,
Happy New Year.
Just got back from Mexico and the Keys.
I will be teaching a rebreather course in Grenada in Feb.
I am making arrangements with ScubaTech Ltd.
They have 02 and say that they will have Helium by Feb.
I'll let you know how it worked out when I get back!

ScubaTech Grenada!! The guys who have just bought that place are old friends of mine from Egypt.

Carsten is a Inspiration Instructor and Trimix and Jochan also dives closed circuit so you shouldn't have any problems with gas and Lime.

Really really nice people. I wish them well.

If people want to do a tech dive on the Oriskany, I'll coordinate the logistics of gas and doubles.

WW - you're killing me.

I'm sending my bank routing code to you, take whatever I have for diving, just pay my mortgage (or try) with what's left.

Palau in three weeks, FG in July, Oz in December....

Short answer - Hell yes I want to go - just don't know if I can fit it into the budget & schedule.

What about non-tech wannabe divers who want to do the island only? I have the gruesome twosome USN buds who can assist with tour of the Naval Air Museum at mainside. Between us we can probably talk about 75% of the crates in the museum. I think one of them actually even landed on the O when her flight deck was +63 instead of -137 MSL
No aquarium, no tank in a marine land, however spacious it may be, can begin to duplicate the conditions of the sea. And no dolphin who inhabits one of those aquariums or one of those marine lands can be considered normal.

I won't be trimix by this fall, so I won't be dropping below the deck if you guys arrange this.

I swore I wouldn't go back on the boat without mix, but I'd help for an SD trip.

Thanks Simon. Carsten is very helpful and seems to be in control of all the logistics.
We should have a great time! :respect:

As soon as I get back from Saba this week I'd like to start figuring this out!

And Mark...doing some non-tech wannabe stuff is cool by me! Especially if they are ex-military guys! :respect:

I would like to join a team to do the Orinsky in Nov... I have a couple others from AK that would are interested as well. We/I would need doubles with Trimix and Deco gas (50%) Progressive penetration, Line management. It would be fun!
I would like to learn more about the Bianca C possibility, As Well. But I have more confidence in the support resources in FLA
