Alright guys, I need to start hearing comments from you otherwise it is just going to be Catfish and me sipping drinks in a lounge somewhere! Any potential interest? Any comments on venue?

Hey, if you join in we promise to behave. Actually, no... we won't promise that at all! If you can't come to a lounge to meet us, we'll come to YOUR HOUSE. What time is breakfast?? :lmao:

Does diving into glasses of adult beverages count?

Given that the HH is on a Friday, there will not be any diving involved. Hopefully some of you can make it!

Woohoo! It does.

Given that we have people traveling up from down south, let me know if anyone is interested in doing a Saturday morning, early afternoon (depending on when we get our butts out of bed) dive at Porteau Cove. If we have enough interest I will get that organized as well, including arranging for rentals of tanks and weights for those who need them.

UPDATE!

Cat Fish has advised me that she has been able to extend her stay :) As such, we are now able to make the HH on Saturday night instead of Friday night if this makes it easier for people to attend, especially our neighbours to the south. I have updated the first post to reflect our options so please let me know not only if you are interested, but on which night and whether or not you would like to see a dive on Saturday.

Given this new information, I forsee a couple of dives at Porteau Cove to be followed by the HH on Saturday night. Let me know!

Yes, I called USAirways, there was availability, so I changed my flight. (Earlier plans were made before Michelle's generous offer to put a HH together). So if I can do this, you can come too, yes?? :) So... I can go to HH on Fri OR Sat nite! I'll also try to catch up with you at Porteau Cove.

Michelle -- TANKS for all your work on this!!

Alright - so here is the plan...

Given that it will still be getting dark early, I suggest a first dive at noon and a second dive at approximately 2:00. For anyone not sure on how to get to Porteau Cove, we can meet up at my place beforehand and head our way up together. If anyone needs tank rentals or weights, let me know and I can make arrangements with my LDS. As well, the offer for floor space (plus the one premium couch and one air mattress) is open on Friday night as well if people don't want to chance the traffic and border on Saturday morning.

Following the dive, we get a chance to clean up and return gear (if there is time - I can do this the next morning if necessary) and then head out for the HH to start around 6:00/6:30. I am debating two places right now and will announce my choice soon.

Anyone else who is interested in attending, don't be shy and let me know! :welcome:

I should be back in town by then and would be up for the evening adventures but unavalible for the diving on Sat. So keep me in the loop.
