Perhaps there is someone from OMS who can discuss these new fins and explain why they are better than other fins on the market?

OMS THRUST DRYSUIT FIN
As previously discussed in a recent fin thread, divers are finding fin fitting issues when moving to drysuits. The thought is that many fin manufacturers are not designing fins with drysuits in mind, but rather wetsuit divers only. Improperly designed fin foot pockets can cause a number of problems:
a. reduction in overall thrust (because your foot is moving around in the foot pocket or is restricted from efficient movement)
b. restricted circulation - a contributing factor to DCS (see latter comment above)
c. foot and muscle cramps (see both comments above)
OMS designed the Thrust Drysuit Fin with a foot pocket engineered specifically with drysuit boot fit in mind incorporating the latest design principles with regard to propulsion dynamics. The desired results are: increased comfort and safety along with an actual increase in thrust, with less effort. The OMS Thrust uses thermally stable Monoprene to help prevent hot car fin blade distortion and improve rebound.
Thank you for asking. SingleDiver.com premier members also get a discount on OMS gear. To learn more contact OTWDiver via pm or via OTWDiver@SingleDivers.com.

OMS,
Thanks for the reply, I wondered if a fin question might simply get ignored as not being relevant. I tried theses fins out on a ice dive this weekend and they worked extremely well with my DUI rock boots. I bought the fins I tested from my LDS.

fala

That is great news! And no question is a trivial one. If you are unable to get OMS gear from your LDS, I can always help you. And SD members get discounts on it too!
