If a woman is drinking a martini, I shy away... too trendy and not independent minded enough for me.
Not necessarily - she may also be a traditionalist. It all depends on what kind of martini she is drinking. Trust me, there is nothing trendy about a gin martini, straight up, dry, with olives. It also happens to be one of my favorite drinks.
Good point... certainly a traditional gin or vodka martini is in a different class from the frou frou kind. However, after my first experience with a gin martini, I'd go with a vodka one if I had to drink a martini at all. Oh, and traditionalists may or may not be of interest to me. I like a woman who crosses the line in a few (respectable) ways.
