Is there anywhere in Canada that one can ice dive in late November?

Up north probably, but around the border area you won't see much opportunity until Jan / Feb. Although we have had -5C temps on average so it is getting there. I am sure there is a lot of opportunity in Ontario. We dive a quarry in Moncton in February usually. A safe, shallow controlled environment.

Here are 20 ice diving videos for you to reference.

Just got done with my ice cert this weekend. 3 - 20 minute dives. It was pretty neat, would definetly recommend it. We had a great set up. The entry hole was completely enclosed in a heated "shack" with an elevated wood platform with bench for those not involved in saftey diver or tendering.

Well, that is no fun. If the seat of your suit is not frozen to the lip of the entrance hole then what is the point...? :cheerleader:

Plus, with a hut over the entrance you don't see this:

Congrats on the qualification...!

Thanks for the Ice Diving pics !
I would love to try ice diving someday, it must be a surreal :lmao: experience.

(Note) Do not make fun or tease Ice Divers like I did years ago because I am still receiving hate mail :diver:
