Inked_Diver, one of my closest friends and co-instructors is moving to the Big Island/Kona!! In many ways I will be very very sad to say goodbye to him both personally and professionally! Not only am I losing the close proximity to my friend, but my dive shop is losing one of our best instructors right before Summer. :tears: :tears: :tears:

By on a happy note :P...this means I will be visiting my good friend in Hawaii in the next few months!!! :P

So, I am putting Single Diver Happy Hour feelers out there!! Please let me know who out there could attend a Single Diver Happy Hour on the Big Island in the next few months! I'll then plan a Happy Hour for one of the nights I am there as soon as my travel arrangements are confirmed! There will already be a confirmed few of us planning on attending: Inked_Diver, Tom, Lance (one of my former DMs who currently instructs for Jack's Diving Locker), Allison and me! Come meet this strange Hawaii faction transplanted from the great PNW!

Who's ready to throw back some Kona Longboards? :D

Sorry to hijack this thread....

Inked_Diver can't leave without coming up to visit me again.
We have got to get another few dives in before he goes.
Keep me posted on when you will be up my way.

It's no hijack! We can cry together! :P He leaves in less than 2 weeks, no diving for him. I'll be lucky to see him for dinner before he goes!

You will have to give him a big kiss and hug from me.
I have enjoyed the time I did get to spend with him.

Sad to see him leave... :tears:
but we now have a great place to stay in Kona with a fabulous buddy.

Dive girl, I will be in Kona/Hilo from April 24 - May 1 attending a wedding for some friends. My friend - also a diver- from Calgary will be there and would love to join up if we can get together. We fly into Kona on the 24th. Let me know your plans!!!

That is too bad. Big problem would probably be finding cheap flights. Did he enjoy Cozumel?

He did enjoy Cozumel very much! Big tanks, long dives!
