Sweetie...we don't bother with your clothes until we've evaluated and accepted your mind!

Yeah, but clothing does count toward first impressions. No use checking out the mind if the first impression you think of is "Eeeeeeewwwwwww..."

Being from Texas you should recognize the validity of this:

Clean shirt, new shoes
And I don't know where I am goin' to.
Silk suit, black tie,
I don't need a reason why.
They come runnin' just as fast as they can
Coz every girl crazy 'bout a sharp dressed man.

Remember, email is an inefficient communications forum. You may not read things the way it was intended. Give people the benefit of the doubt before firing back... Especially if it is ME...! ;)

I can't believe I'm actually writing about past relationships but deep breath and plunging in:

I'm not really into clothes...I have lots of cute things because of a dear friend who have my credit card and shops for me. Another friend owns a dry cleaner and put them back in my closet all color coordinated making them easy to mix and match. I still shop for shoes and purses and undies when I have some free time but it's so much easier ordering them from the internet. My last boyfriend actually think it's too much and this was one of the reason we split.

Some people may be attracted to the packaging and some people may run because of it.

My Mom, on the other hand, never said a word about my outfits...she just get rid of them when I'm not around. On one of her visit, I lost all my Harley's clothing and didn't even notice for a couple of months later.

Now, if I like what a man is wearing, I may just steal the shirt of his back and wear it myself :banghead: There's this Grandma's marathon t-shirt of his that goes back and forth.

Moose and Brian, I guess we are victims of the same monster. Wearing blue polyester most of the time hs seriously deadened my sence of fashion. And to be honest, I could care less. Jeans t shirts an tennnis shoes are good enough for me. If it wasn't for my wife I'd have no "dress clothes". She does not complain about my dress, she just tries to inhance it. Which I appreciate since I would not buy things like clothing on my own. Dive gear costs too much :)
