set up a night dive with sharks for the night of the 4th. would have been able to see the fireworks from at least 5 cities during the surface interval.
but some people, many who CLAIM to be dive-aholics, went to buy skirts at walmart instead, something about aggressive diving, not getting enough sleep, and sharks are scary. bunch of sissies

After the second dive, I sat on the bow and watched the displays put on by Deerfield Beach, Pompano Beach, Ft Lauderdale and Boca Raton. They were all visible from our location.

wait, i think i hear someone crying.I think it had more to do with getting back at around 2:00am at the earliest and getting up again at 5:30am
and hows that skirt fittin ya Dale?
lol
Walter,
i hear ya about the lights, and agree.
did a night dive last thursday, before heading to Morehead City to join the SD crowd.
ended up diving solo. shut my light off and cruised around the wreck. truely incredible. best part was all the sharks on the wreck. truely at one with nature to glide about in the dark surrounded by sand tigers.
