I like my SS plate either wet or dry. Sometimes wet I'll use my Al plate though cause I don't need as much weight.

assuming tank - steel 108, 85, 80, alum 100, or 80

you transport -
Wetsuit - ss plate, evolve 30
Drysuit - ss plate with weight strap add on, evolve 30

Plane transport - (either wet or dry)
plastic (ABS or whatever) backplate, evolve 30 - you can weight up at dive spot
