Anyone out there got some video editing software they can use to get this fixed?? Or does anyone know of anything free that I can download?

I can fix the video if you want to send it. What kind of tape is it on?

It's actually just 2 different .avi files. I tried downloading some shareware video editing software, but it keeps crashing my computer. So if you can help I'd appreciate it. Again I can probably do it if someone can just point me to a decent free program to download.

I just got an email From Sue Enos at Father Mallaghan's Boys Home in Grenada. I had sent her some tents and camping gear for their annual camp, but did not hear if they had arrived in time for their camp last week. I just got this from her this morning:

"I was able to get the letter from the Ministry to clear the tents (from Customs) the day before our trip... ...The boys were so thrilled to sleep in the tents. They were very helpful in putting them up too. We worked on following directions and teamwork as we set them up. I slept in a tent with my fiance and 3 of the younger boys, we had plenty of room. I was so pleased with the boys behavior on the trip, they are still talking about it non-stop. It is definitely the highlight of their year (until camp rolls around again.)"

Here are the pictures she sent to me of the camp last week.

Hey Simon,
I'm sure they loved the tents! Nice job going the extra mile to obtain and sends them to the kids!

I made an appeal through the local paper for people to give old camp gear and was flooded with stuff. My living room is still full of donated camp gear and I am shipping it down in small packages over time because of the costs involved. I hope to have the rest down there in a few months. The tents I had to get down there for their July 23rd camp. They will have everything (sleeping bags, pots, utensils, etc.) for next years camp.

Sue Enos, the Peace Corps volunteer who a lot of you met in Grenada, will be leaving the island in two weeks. She wanted me to pass on her thanks to all who helped out on the trip.

GR8 going, Simon!!!! You're da man!!!!

In case anyone is interested, I've uploaded my underwater Grenada images to MiHD.net. You may download them by going to this link - http://mihd.net/yragt4 - within the next 30 days. There are over 400 underwater images, so it will take some time to download, but I hope it will be worth the effort. Or, if you'd prefer, send me a PM with your mailing address, and I'll send you a CD.

Have a great time ~ I am looking forward to hearing the stories and seeing the pics.

Sparky and I are in Grenada. The rest of the crowd arrives tonight; the diving and Happy Hour are tomorrow.

I brought two PlatyCams with me this run; one for shore and one for U/W, so this should prove interesting.

Sparky stowed away again, as usual, and is already starting to work his sexy monotreme furball magic on some of the ladies. It's mating season all the time for him at this latitude, so he can't control himself.

Who am I kidding? Sparky NEVER controls himself.

Thanks Plat
