I dove there once a few years ago - some nature preserve thing or something - fed sharks through plexi-glass. Nice area!
Hope you have a great time!

I wondered why they said my trip would be 1/2 price if I would volunteer to be on the other side of the plexi-glass

If you need any advice on where to dive, where to stay, where to eat, etc., let me know....I'll be moving there in October and have been researching the island extensively - so can share what I know so far

I too have look at Curacao and it seems to be an awsome island. I'm looking to buy something in the next year or so, would love to hear your thoughts on the island as well. You have things set up ie job and housing? You'll love Curacao!!! I was there 3 times last year and completely loved it.

I'll know a lot more once I move down there, of course...but I know the general areas I'm looking at to live. I'm staying at a vacation apartment for the first month - so that gives me some time to find a house to rent. I'm going to rent for the first year and decide from there what to do. As for the job - that's a long story....but yes, the jobs are mostly lined up.

Please do...I'm happy to answer as much as I can. And if you love the island half as much as I do, you're guaranteed to have a fabulous time!

Wow, good work getting a job down there. I had a potential job in the Bahamas fall through recently so I am just a wee bit envious... Well done!I'll know a lot more once I move down there, of course...but I know the general areas I'm looking at to live. Where are you staying? Curacao is much different than Bonaire (remember our fun first trip together???) Anyone who can go should take advantage of diving with this "wild man"!

That is funny "Wild Man". Glad to hear that you are living the good life!
I will be staying closer to town at the Hilton. Thought it might be easier to get into town that way and I was thinking that there might be a conflict with Kids Sea Camp at Lions or Habitat....but thinking always gets me into trouble.
Yep.. I remember that Bonaire trip. Great diving and great people. That was a fun trip.
Hope to see you on a trip soon.
Have fun in Curacao
