I live in Texas and am looking to dive that weekend.

Well, this would still depend on what part of The Lone Star State you're located, how far you want to drive, and your experience level. I know a few spots, but they're all either too far for the experience, or for Santa Rosa NM - messed up last I heard from dredging...

Given all the rain in Central and North Texas- the Flower Gardens or Padre may be about the only places to go for awhile!! Have fun and dive safe!!

What do you plan to see?

What days will you be in the water, how many dives expected?

I am still new to Diving and Texas Diving and I am curious what all is down there.

I am expecting to dive on Saturday and Sunday. I need to talk to the dive op to find out more about details such as what time, reserving a spot etc. The link to the dive op is South Padre Diving.

The web site has a list of 12 sites listed with a description of what you can expect to see on each, some pictures, and the prices. We will decide among us which two we want to dive.

I too am curious about South Padre diving. If we like what we see and we like the dive op, we will consider doing an SD Dive of the month down there.

Wish I could but I actually have to be in work Fri. since my flight gets in Thurs and I wanted to save a vacation day.
