After 28 years this past month, I can't say we keep it hot, it just gets hot from time to time. I would say that we keep things at a slow burn. The older you get, a slow burn is as about as hot as you want it to stay. Kamala, us old folks could have a stroke or heart attack if it stayed hot.

I like the idea of trying new things once in a while. (Keep your minds from the gutter for a moment )
I went kayaking with her a couple of weeks ago. It is the first time that I have been in a kayak. I have learned about wine. She has learned about diving and the stuff that I read. We laugh with each other and make sure to touch a lot. I leave romantic surprises for her when I feel that she most needs to see them or she least expects it. Again, she does the same for me.
We show geniune caring for each other and make every effort to be there for each other when we need to share things.
The romance comes naturally from that. The romance results in the heat.
