Candles, soft music, cold drinks, warm massage oil, hot crackling fire, bear skin rug... Add two people and mix thoroughly over several hours...

I'll let you know when I have one. Probably have to spend more time on the surface intervals than underwater to keep it HOT. We're expecting record temps this week.

Weescot, just too funny. ;)

After 28 years this past month, I can't say we keep it hot, it just gets hot from time to time. I would say that we keep things at a slow burn. The older you get, a slow burn is as about as hot as you want it to stay. Kamala, us old folks could have a stroke or heart attack if it stayed hot.

we are going on 32 years. First and only marriage. I would say that "hot" went away with "lust" That is not to say there is no fire, just not what most would consider "hot". I think it would be very difficult to maintain the level of intensity that exists in the early years and I'm not really sure that I would want to maintain it.
There is a lot to be said for the comfort level of a seasoned relationship.

Hey how do you keep your relationship HOT?!?!?!

I'll substitute "Hot" with "still going strong" and answer with openess, honesty, compassion, and oh ya, some still pretty damn good sex :welcome: BTW...............29 years.

Yeah, what Bill said. What relationship? After my last attempt (which still smarts), the only one I'm really interested in is a real bitch. She's always thrilled to see me, doesn't jerk me around, and likes the marine environment as much as I do:

After roughly ten months, I would have to say that I haven't hit the boundary in this relationship.

I like the idea of trying new things once in a while. (Keep your minds from the gutter for a moment :lmao: )

I went kayaking with her a couple of weeks ago. It is the first time that I have been in a kayak. I have learned about wine. She has learned about diving and the stuff that I read. We laugh with each other and make sure to touch a lot. I leave romantic surprises for her when I feel that she most needs to see them or she least expects it. Again, she does the same for me.

We show geniune caring for each other and make every effort to be there for each other when we need to share things.

The romance comes naturally from that. The romance results in the heat.
A person should be judged in this life not by the mistakes that they make nor by the number of them. Rather they are to be judged by their recovery from them.
