Hey Doris, sorry I can't make this HH but I'm having too much fun here in Baghdad...you know lying by the pool, catching some rays, ducking during the random rocket and mortar attacks.

It seems like there are a lot of new divers in the local area so the next HH should be a blast. Let me know how it goes! I’ll try to make the September HH.

Not sure if I can make this one, as I am supposed to have family visiting that week. But I will try!

WOW...where are all the NoVA/DC/MD divers? I thought there would be more folks chiming in.

Yep, our crowd is getting lazy on the board. :P
Lately a lot of people show up at HH without posting in the HH thread.

Vinny, September is coming soon :D hang in there.

A couple of us are diving Millbrook this Sunday. Till yesterday we had six guys and myself. But as of today there is another girl coming with her female friend. You will not believe who it is. :-D

I just saw an e-mail from Vanessa saying she will be going. Tell her hello for me—I’ve tried to call but no joy.

I hope to be out of here in September and re-hydrate myself...I have lots of vacation time and plan to hit Fla and NC. I want to try to hit all U-boats hard this year—U-85, U-701, U-863 and U-352. Maybe I’ll even make the NC dive trip, but I don’t know if anyone I really know will be going.

I also hope to take Tech 1 in December, but need some serious pool time and a DIR practice buddy. I hate being out of the water for 6-months at a time.

Take it easy and have a fun dive. Remember a bad day of diving at Millbrook is better than the best day here in Iraq.

OK, I will tell her hello from you. Chris and Joe will be there too. I will tell them hello as well.

Great plans for diving. :lmao: You should go on the NC trip. Local people probably still sign up. And remember, it's always nice to make new dive friends :lmao:

I will always keep in mind that diving in a cold quarry with bad viz is better than being in Iraq.
