I want to go to Lucaya Cay (Freeport - Bahamas) this October and I wondered if any of you had been there before?

This is a mother/son trip and we plan to stay at the Westin so she can enjoy the Isle of Capri Casino. If you have stayed at the adjacent Sheraton and have a good opinion I would consider it.

Also, what view did you get with your room? They seem to have 3 very different price points.

I have read several forums and most agree http://www.grandbahamascuba.com/ is the best outfitter. Their downside is no diving on Saturdays and only an afternoon dive on Sunday.

If you have had good luck with another Dive Op then please chime in.

We will arrive on a Wednesday evening and then depart the following Sunday.

Any input is appreciated.
