Last but not least:

Waiting until your husband is out of town and trading in his convertable Mustang GT for a honda CRV because you loved the color!!!!!

Ouch!
Be happy for this moment. This moment...is your life.

Chances are this was a lack of communication. She may have felt threatned by the car (after all it is a head turner - I should know, I drive a Mustang Gt convertible!) She should have said she was worried that you are acting single or liked the attention it gives you and she'd rather have you in a "family" car. (I should know, I dated a guy who was jealous as hell of my new car, which I bought AFTER my divorce) What did I do? I dumped the guy lol! Pick your priorities! Wife or car?

Maybe if you had assured her that you loved being married and weren't trying to get attention in your car she wouldn't have traded it in.

I didn't buy the car for attention. I just love hot rods and like to go fast! I had mine at 112 MPH and yes, I'm an organ donor lol, not like there'd be anything left to save!
Would I trade it in if a person I really cared about asked me to? In a heart beat.

Whew... I guess that's one relationship breaker I don't have to worry about! No girlfriend would be concerned about the Dr. Bill Mobile (my golf cart) or my banged up 20+ year old Toyota Tercel being head turners! Come to think of it, since I live near LALA Land, these vehicles are probably one of the big reasons I'm NOT dating anyone... it's all about image here, and cars are a big part of that. Oh, well.

Don't feel bad Bill. I drive a Golfcart while I am in Hondo. I had two matching GTs, well almost matching my other one is a hardtop. The convertable was my favorite of the two.
