I have not been to Cozumel nor to Cancun but am planning to take my son there for a graduation present next year. He's a non-diver at the present time, as well as most of his buddies, that may be joining us. Some of them have expressed an interest in learning to dive, but I think they are more interested in what or maybe I should say who is on the beaches, nightlife and other activities at this point. I wanna dive of course, but this trip isn't for me and want to be sure they have a good time. So the question I have is, which place would be better to take a group of 18&19 year olds?

Any info from all of you Cozumel/Cancun travellers is greatly appreciated :birthday:

Just tell the young studs Coz gets all those cruise ships daily so they will have a endless stream of new talent! Tell them to think short term and move on when the next boat arrives. Now I would never do that!

This her SON we are talking about. That advice coming from you would be one thing. That advice coming from mother would lead to therapy.

Haven't nailed down an exact date yet, but will definitely be after graduation (end of May) and before college begins in the fall (Sept).
