For me it would probably come down to this trip vs the Bahamas New Years liveaboard. I know lil' mermaid likes the idea of doing a liveaboard again. We will see.

Wouldn't the first week in November conflict with DEMA as it did this year?

No we could not do it when DEMA is. I will try to get the DEMA dates.

No we could not do it when DEMA is. I will try to get the DEMA dates.

According to the DEMA website its October 22-25, so you are safe from that.

Well, the two other SD trips I'm thinking of use much of my '08 vacation time, and I always have an urge to vacation somewhere on the Thanksgiving week. I was actually thinking of doing my annual "culture" trip again this year during this holiday week. No worries if it works best for the group for another week --- I've been to Curacao 4x and may pop down for a long weekend anyway...

The only "no" week for me is Nov 30 - Dec 6.

Thank you! Its really important to try and maximize those who can go and avoid the dates when people can not attend.

The only week that will not work for me is over Thanksgiving weekend I think it's the 27th. So the 15th - 22nd works or the week before if we do Sat to Sat

I'm all for getting out of town on Thanksgiving. You put on 4lbs of food in 1 day that takes 4 weeks in the gym to shed . I can't commit to this trip, just interested at this time, and also flexible with travel dates . But always like to get out of town on T-Day.

Will take a rain check on Curacao for now....

Planning instead on Dominica in Nov, if that falls through, will do Curacao if space is available, so still interested, but not committed....

I know we still have plenty of time for this trip but if you have a November Date that works or doesn't Im sure Kamala needs to know in order to get the max people signed up. So chime in The diving is Fantastic in Curacao and I'm sure she is just waiting on a little more input to firm up a date.

The article in Scuba Diving magazine quotes my friend Lynn Bean from Sunset Divers/Sunset Waters Resort extolling the virtues of her favorite secret dive site - Watamula...the author is impressed.

I've dove with Lynn at Watamula as it was Lynn's secret spot and she generally only took her friends there, I didn't divulge...but now it's out there...!!
