Well, Elise and I have made it to Sydney. Aside from some rude people in the Sydney airport everything's great. Weather is overcast with a 60% chance of showers, temps around 65 degrees

That was at 7:30am this morning. Its up int he mid 70's right now. Remember also I am in Sydney, not Cairns, much warmer up north I believe. ITs a 3 hour plane ride from Sydney.

It ain't summer yet - but it is a lot warmer and more humid than Sydney or even Brisbane.

I'm guessing high 80's / 100% right now and the sun can really scorch you.

Balloon and boat cruise / snorkel tomorrow (2 dec) with SWMBO - we'll see the tour group Monday AM if I can figure out where everyone is staying.

No aquarium, no tank in a marine land, however spacious it may be, can begin to duplicate the conditions of the sea. And no dolphin who inhabits one of those aquariums or one of those marine lands can be considered normal.

Back from the balloon trip - worth the 4:10AM departure! Tour boat to the outer reef for a snorkel was as they say in Japan "interesting" - but we had a good time.

Cleaning up for supper and early bed - very long day. Hoping to catch the group tomorrow - from what I can divine the tour is leaving from the Esplanade side of the Mantra Trilogy hotel at 7am.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

We are sitting having breakfast in a cafe with free wireless. It is hot and gorgeous. Just the way I love it. Had the best roommate last night. The Wench herself.

Just killing time until we catch the plane to Cooktown. Can't wait to GET WET!!!

Before the rumors start I just wanted to jump in here and warn people not to believe everything they may see. It seems someone may have photoshoped me in some, ummm, clothing that was not mine. This did not happen, if it had I would clearly have rembered it. I rember little else from that night but this I would have rembered.
Great trip y'all! Jodi, Andrew and I are headed south for some wreck diving tomorrow. Pics will be posted sometime in the future when I get back to AK.
Can't wait to see y'all again! Thaks for a great time....
