Cleveland next week, Cincinatti the following two weeks, back in Minny the first week of March and then off to Florida the week of March 9th. I have meetings in Florida the first 2 1/2 days in Clearwater and then I'm thinking about heading to the Keys the 12-16th. Florida is probably the only place I'll bring my dive gear.

There are a bunch of us all over South Florida :thankyou: If you are in the Palm Beach area and want to make a pit stop, just say the word. :thankyou:

I'm sure some of us could have our arms twisted to join you for a drink or dive :fish2: susie

I'll second that. Depending on what obligations I have I could even join you in the keyes. I haven't been down there for a couple of years.

Well, I was kind of thinking about heading to WPB or LBTS that Thursday and Friday. I've dove with Narcossis in WPB before and I've also shore dived in LBTS so I thought I might do that before I tentatively hooked up with a buddy in the Keys who is from Central Florida and would be driving down Friday night. But, if I have someone to dive with, I'll dive anywhere between Clearwater and the Dry Tortugas:-)

Hello Yohanson, depending on timing et al, I am up for diving, The Keys are always an option for me. I get down there on a regular basis anyway...

Cool! I love diving the wrecks in Key Largo if anyone is up for that. The Bibb is my favorite out of the Grove, the Duane and the Bibb. The reefs are okay too.

I have not done the Bibb yet, it has just never happened, that would be a nice change for me. However, I have been "blessed" with the Duane at least five times in 4 months.

LOL

I did my first mandatory deco dive on the Duane. I've only dove the Spegiel Grove 5 times in 2 years, which is the most I've dove any of those wrecks.

That's about how many times I've done the Grove too. But I confess, last month was the first time I ever looked at one of those "maps" that show the entire wreck. I really did not have a concept of where I was truly at on it before.

She is a big boat with lots to see. I've done a number of minor swim throughs on her too. But, I'd still rather dive the Bibb. There's something about that ship laying on it's side with all those fish around her that seem so surreal. But, I only have 1 dive on the Bibb so that might be the reason I liked her so much...or not.

Keep me posted. I will likely be taking those days off as I have an audit Tuesday and Wednesday and will probably need a break. LOL And depending on what happens with my sister who is due to have my niece on the 12th I would love to get a dive in :) Susie

Susie, I would be thrilled to pick you up on the way down!! I have not compleletely firmed up my dates, I may have asked for F/S/S when I thought I was asking for Th/F/S. No matter though, I am confident I can wiggle the days around if I need too. Three nights down there is what I am looking at.

As I told PMarie privately, I'm spoken for (by a GUE buddy of mine...not a chick;-) on a Saturday dive somewhere in the Keys on the 15th but I believe there are two open slots left...not certain yet (not even sure what wreck it is). It would be great to have two more SD members if that were the case. I'll be staying right on Duval St. on Saturday night and will be leaving Key West with my buddy Curtis back to Central Florida on Sunday and will be leaving early Monday the 17th from Orlando.

Otherwise, I have no other plans for Thursday and Friday except my backup plan will be to stay at my buddy Mike's house in Titusville and commute down to WPB and do daily dives with Narcossis or some other dive boat until I leave for the Keys with Curtis on Friday evening. That is the back up plan and am willing to listen to any suggestions.

It looks like we have a plan. Thursday morning with Jupiter Dive Center and then head down to the Keys for the rest of the long weekend.
