I'm going on a last minute trip to Key West and staying on Duval St. Does anyone have any suggestions on dive shops to dive with? I've never been down there. How is the diving anyway? Thanks!

Try Southpoint divers not sure if they still have a store front on Duval St. Nice spacious dive boat. Let you dive with a buddy but pretty much on your own after the dive briefing.

And what if I don't have a buddy? I take it if there isn't someone to pair me with, there will be a divemaster around to be my buddy?
I'm a new-ish diver (only 13 under my belt), and I don't mind a random buddy either, but I will obviously need someone! Thanks!!!

I've been out with these guys a couple times. Very convienent boat tied up right a shop which is on Rossevelt Bvd. You may see them as you drive into old KW on the right side of road. Taxi over on day of dive. Parking your rental auto maybe a issue although I found a spot easy and no ticket. Inqire at office best option. Boats ok. Diving better key Largo and Islamorada. Waiting for Vandenburg to to sunk before next visit KW. They had 2 DM in water when I went out. HAVE FUN. BTW they use to post digital pics of all those on boat a day after your dive on thier web site. That was neat.
