I just got invited to 'cover' the Key West Open spearfishing tournament this coming weekend, May 2, 3, 4. I was told this event is raising money for some charity, but I haven't had time to check.

We fully expect Murphy's law to prove itself occasionally. However everything has been worked out so that we plan to broadcast the "Captains Meeing" live on Friday 8pm eastern, the weigh-in and trophy presentations on Sunday at 5pm eastern, and some other event Saturday at 5pm.

Here's the interesting part. I know NOTHING about spearfishing. I do not know any thing about any kind of fishing. I don't even eat fish. I am sure I could never pass the test for a fishing license. So my coverage of this event could be quite humorous ! (I did learn about the Jackalope Fish caught with a carrot )

We will welcome video and picture submissions from anyone participating or sponsoring this event. We (me and Infranet Communications) have quite a lot of 'unscheduled time' this week in Key West and we will be looking for anything interesting and relevant. If you are in the area and have something interesting to show or talk about on video, please contact us. If you will not be in the area, but have an idea for something interesting for me to video, let me know that also.

If you know anyone in the area with a passion (or business) for underwater video, we would really like to get in touch with them! This is NOT u-tube, they will NOT give away their copyrights by allowing us to show their work. In fact they can have their work posted as "pay per view" at whatever rate they want to charge.

The website for this is www.catchingfish.tv email is catchingfish @ helloworld.com
