:respect: Hello! Having spent a week diving 177' twice a day in Bikini Atoll last year in July I had the chance of a lifetime to learn from British Master Decompression Experts. Bikini Atoll had decompression experts come there from all over the world including the UK and Australia and many from the US to test their computers and dive profiles. These experts had seen over 150 cases of the bends every year for over five years at Bikini Atoll since all dives were to the bottom of the lagoon at 177', except the Saratoga aircraft carrier.

We were decompressing at 30, 20 and 10' using 70% Oxygen to off gas to dive two a day profiles.

They stressed a one minute 80' safety stop to prevent the bends when diving around 100'.

They stressed when diving do not exercise after diving, work out heavy before your vacation! Too many divers get the bends working out after diving!

They stressed to not take hot showers or jacuzzi's. They had experienced divers who exercised or hot showered and got the bends.

The intermediate one minute safety stop is really big and can make a big difference.

:lmao:
