Missouri Happy Hour?

Are you interested in a "meet & greet" happy hour with other SD members? We don't want the DFW and Houston members having all the fun! Let's swap dive & travel stories and find potential dive buddies, all in a fun atmosphere.
We're probably scattered around the State. Post in this thread your general location in the State and if you are interested in a HH. If you're a Premier Member, you can PM me. We can try to find a spot that all of us can get to easily... Columbia? KC? St. Louis? -- depends on the responses. Probably have to shoot for a Saturday afternoon or evening, especially if some have to drive a bit. It may take some time to coordinate, but let's give those other HH cities notice that Missourians are fun, too! Know other divers that are not members of SD? They're welcome, too.
I know you're out there - just have to find you!

I'm in, unless you have it in SE Missouri, that 7 hour drive is a killer!
We might also consider Springfield and possibly getting some of the SE Kansas, NW Arkansas people interested?

Suh-weet! We're on a roll now. One in KC, one in St. Louis, and one in Maryville. Hey, I'm willing to carpool and share gas expenses. I have a pickup, and I'll either ride with someone else, or pack a bunch of divers into my truck bed! We'll just all arrive with "boat hair".I'm in St Louis and I'd love to join a MO happy hour, if I can afford the gas to get there

I have always wanted to dive the Bonne Terre Mine in MO. What about that local for a HH?

Landlocked Dive Nut,

I'm open to it, but have never been there so will have to investigate to see how that might work based on where all the divers respond from. Since we're scattered, maybe a day's diving followed by relaxed evening with good food, friends and an adult beverage might suite everybody. Hotels/Motels are pretty reasonable. You're more than welcome to join us!
Drifter? Haven't you dived Bonne Terre?

Here's their website: http://www.2dive.com/btm.htm
They don't list daily rates, only package deals with local hotels.

So, is this enough? I'd be willing to do the St. Louis area, in conjunction with diving at Bonne Terre, but 8 hours drive round trip for just dinner and drinks is a bit much. Drifter, you and I can "car pool" from some common point on I-70 East.
Any other suggestions, or shall we wait and see if other MO divers come out of hiding (or come back from vacation)?
