Hello CHarlie,

My local dive club is sponsoring a pumpkin carving contest 01 Nov in PC, afterward I have a camping trip planned so will not be in the PC area, sorry.

The club's preferred DO is Dive Locker, there are a few other operators but Tony has invested in a pair of brand new 36 foot Newton custom dive boats, replete with hot showers on deck. :) All the PC DO's visit the same basic list of popular local wrecks every weekend. Inhsore destinations (up to 10 miles out) would include intact upright trawlers such as the Black Bart, Akokeek, and an intact and upright Bridge Span styled like and old railway trestle. Offshore trips (over 10 miles out) are usually arranged in advance as all-day three dive excursions and feature the Grey Ghost, a larger than average upwright wreck. All the local wrecks can easily be penetrated by experienced divers.

Here's the Dive Locker website, including info on the two Newtons Fintastic and Narcosis:

Dive Locker Panama City Beach, FL

Hope this helps, and that you enjoy your visit to Venice as well as the panhandle! Catch ya next trip maybe...
