My plans are to dive Heron Bridge Friday morning (along with anyone else wishing to join Cindi and me!), then help set up the booth Friday evening if needed. I'm also ready to put in a full day Saturday, but hope to have booked a boat dive OR a return to Heron Bridge on Sunday. :birthday:

HH Friday or Saturday night works for me, will watch the posts for a final choice. P.S. I will need a badge to work the booth. :birthday:

Hi folks,
Welcome to sunny south Florida. Went to a picnic at the bridge last weekend. Divers saw all kinds of cool stuff including a fly-by of some spotted eagle rays. Be sure to check the high tide times. (only time to get into the water without a 3 knot current)

I'm scheduled to be in the keys with students so have fun. Same ocean only 100 miles south LOL

I won't be spending much time at the show this year. I was hoping to be there both days and helping out, but... my 5' 1/2" daughter is in a weight lifting competition on Sunday... My presence was requested... (I couldn't say NO...) and I'm taking the Macro Photography class on Saturday... So, I'll probably get to spend about 3 hours at the show...

I'll definitely see you there... No Happy Hour for me on Friday... <sniff>
If you're bored diving, then you quit learning...

Went to the show yesterday It was a busy time for me as one of my best dive buddies gave a talk about my favorite dive site the Blue Heron Bridge (she also published a book about the site called Under The Bridge & I am honored that one of my photos is in it) & then I was a volunteer at another booth but made time to reconnect with Single Divers. Saw many old (as in long time not age) friends Cindi, Holly, Larry & of course Kamala & met some new ones too. Brad is now as excited about BHB as I am. What a fine group we are -very outgoing & friendly as most divers are but with an added edge of bonding immediately. Hopefully I will be able to go on another trip & meet many more members.
Thank you again Kamala for my perfect gift which I had actually been looking for. It is going diving with me today.

I posted photos from the Flordia Dive Show in December (finally!). They're in the SingleDivers.com Facebook group or you can view the album directly here.
