I don't see a forum for divegear. Is that perhaps expected to be covered in another forum? Can we have it added?

You are correct, there is no forum for dive gear. We may or may not have one in the future, depending on demand. Right now, our membership is small, as it grows, we'll be happy to add more forums as the need develops. For now, the General Diving forum should serve our equipment discussions.
