Well, right about now there should be a whole bunch of "Keys Krawlers" getting the "10 sheet" lecture from Capt Frank and Melanie...

We had an absolute blast on the Pre-Keys Krawl... I'm just sorry I couldn't join you guys for the rest of it.

Thanks again to all who organized... especially Punky, Bruce, Que and of course my roomie Zach! You guys Rock!!!

Have a blast everyone and dive Safe. I hope you get to see tons of Coral Porn!!

Hugs!!!

After four trips on the Spree, I now calculate how much TP I'm going to need for every situation, and use the minimum amount necessary. At my house, a roll now lasts about a month...

And another thing--I will catch myself whistling a tune and then stopping suddenly, lest nonexistent Capn Frank should yell at me, or a sudden wind should spring up.
I'm growing older but not up,
My metabolic rate is pleasantly stuck.
Let those winds of time blow over my head,
I'd rather die while I'm living than live while I'm dead.

Hoping you all have LOTS of fun and good times aboard the Spree!! I hope I can make it aboard next year, darn job got back in the way starting today...

Be careful with that TP and remember Mel's silent segment of the 10 sheets lecture, don't want the Spree to be embarrassed by a string of .....!!

Looking forward to your trip reports about that coral -- maybe one day I'll figure out how to skip out on the first few days back to work for the start of the school year and see it myself!

...Oh yea, look for the Green Flash, I missed it this summer!!

WE SAW SOME CORAL GETTING IT ON.... :teeth:

Last night my team of scubachick43 and randomizer and I saw coral sperm and eggs EVERYWHERE!!! Well at least at the part of the reef we had scoped out hoping to see explode! :hiya:

We are heading to Looe Key to do spawning tonight and then into the Tortugas for tomorrow's spawning. We've done some amazing wreck diving so far but the currents have been a bit brisk on most of the wrecks but not unreasonable.

More later....

Just so you know Chuck, our May trip is in the Spree's "Book of Records" as the only one to have the plumbing fiasco that some of us so fondly remember. Noone was foolish enough to whistle lest the everpresent Melanie should hear ! I have found myself on the 36th floor of a building in Manhattan while under construction to be whistling , and I'll stop to make sure that I'm not on the divedeck of the Spree with an eclectic mix of tunage washing over a great group of SD divers queing up for a giant stride into Gulf waters. Momentarily I'm elated and then I go back to work....and to whistling cuz now I don't care if the wind blows. See Ya

I only saw the last part of the Keys Krawl and for a quick edit it was good but don't go quitting that day job just yet OK after seeing the other videos on YouTube I retract that remark! :)

I'll have Steven Spielberg call you - of course the one I know works down at the quick lube shop but it's a start ;) :teeth:
