Normally 12 lbs of weight will work but I'm so excited about his trip that it may take more to hold me down.

I am not a spokesman for the MV Spree but I dont think that they encourage HP 100s because of the extended bottom time they give and the higher risk of DCS, But I think they will allow them if you rent one locally or bring your own as long as it has a current inspection sticker IMHO. I'm flying in so I am looking for info on LDS in the Key West area for rental info on a AL/Steel HP 100 myself.

Yo Sparky...are you going to be driving your own car? Do you need a ride or are you offering a ride? Where is the FLL/MCO area, I know where Tampa and WPalm are, where the hell are you gonna be exactly and when?

A) Like I ever know Where, When or even Who I'll be on any given day OR time (Except when Mel says "Pools Open"...I know I'll be gett'in wet real soon)

2) Yankee living above Mason-Dixon line ,No I will NOT be driving down but I figgered I'd fly in to a more reasonable cheap mid Florida city and accompany some SD driver and help w/ driving;gas ;tolls; talk ; sing to them, whatever it takes or is requested

D) FLL= Fort Lauderdale MCO = Orlando

FLL is the the airport code for Ft Lauderdale and MCO is for Orlando. sparky airfare wise right now im finding air to keywest is running 300+ taxes (~350, and having to connect in miami to a prop to key west (DFW-MIA-EYW)) on American but this far out the prices are a little high and may drop closer to time.


? I know that long range planning is kinda hard, but what are people thinking about for tours before and after? I haven't thought that far ahead, but whats recommended to see and experience(obviously key west southern most point personalities, mel fisher treasures, and the old fort but what else). That and photograph as im going to be looking to shoot as much stock photos as possible to sell and for my portfolio.

I dont discourage steel 100's,I just don't rent them because maintenace is such a bear. Try rental from Conch Repulic Divers in Tavenier key, or try Dive Key West.
