everybody! I've really missed SD for the past week, and I LOVE the new more professional look! KUDOS to all the IT volunteers for making it happen....it was worth the wait!

It's good to be back in contact with all my SD friends!!!

I've said it before and I'll say it again...TECHIES ROCK!!! Thanks guys for all your hard work getting the site up and running again. I love the new look and hope to soon know it as well as the old.

Glad to see the gang back on SD.com, I was starting to have withdrawals and contemplated diving in Chatfield Reservoir! And that was even after a weekend at the Colorado Dive Show with the Wench and a great group of Colorado SD-ers.

It's been a while since I've been on good ol SD. How has everyone been? I'm liking the new setup. I've managed to power through college at warp speed and will be graduating this December. Headed to the Police Academy in January. Spent the summer working on a treasure salvage operation on the San Miguel de Archangel. Very cool! Even had my 3 seconds of fame on the news. Been mostly diving the caverns/caves as of late. Hopefully one of these weekends will net a chance to do some ocean diving but I'm not holding my breath. Busy busy as well as tight on cash. Hope all is well with everyone!!

Due to working too much this year I was only able to go on a dive trip once.

I did go with a friend I met through SD. We also got to see a couple other SD members.

We dove with Rainbow Reef in Key Largo, Fl and had Zach as our captain!!

It was a wonderful trip with great friends.

Hopefully I can find a trip to go on in 2011 with SD!!

Yes indeed. I've been taking 7 classes every semester to include both summer semesters. Those, coupled with classes I took while still in the Army and things I tested out of, have made it possible for me to finish rather quickly. The police academy starts in January. After I finish field training and get rolling I'll probably start taking classes towards my masters. I'm rather burnt out on school to be honest. I loathe it at this point and can not WAIT to be done. The only thing that kept me sane over the summer was diving and surfing. I managed to land a job on a salvage boat and passed my weekends there. Lots of fun, lots of diving, and even a bit of treasure. Cool stuff. Hopefully money and time will allow for another SD trip. I'm certainly due for one!
