Barb, what sort of file is it? Your thread title mentions an image, but what is the extension? .jpg, .tiff, .bmp, .gif.... or is it some other format?

jpg

I've never had any problem in the past... It acts like it is uploading and then it comes back w/ zero files attached.

I'm clueless...

M'kay, and how large is the file? If you were to open the pic on your screen, and view it at 100% of its size, would you be able to see the whole pic,or would it be too big for the screen?

I reduced the physical size by 25% and it worked!

The SD site will only accept GIF, PNG and JPG / JPEG images. You should try to keep them as small as possible as the resizing engine gets overloaded easily. With the 21 Megapixel cameras out today it would not take long to fill up the hard drive space on our server.

Take this picture as an example:

Posted Image

This image is 1280 X 960 and 582 KB or half a megabyte. You notice the system reduces the picture anyway, so the extra file size is wasted.

Reduce the same image to half the size like this:

Posted Image

...and at 640 X 480 the image is only 52.5 KB or 9% of the original with most of the artistic elements preserved. :welcome: Realistically anything over 200K may not work, but realize that JPG's are compressed and 200K holds a LOT of image information.
Remember, email is an inefficient communications forum. You may not read things the way it was intended. Give people the benefit of the doubt before firing back... Especially if it is ME...! ;)
