A few people are reporting seeing a 403 error when they try to submit a message.

403 Error: This indicates a fundamental access problem, which may be difficult to resolve, because the HTTP protocol allows the Web server to give this response without providing any reason at all. So the 403 error is equivalent to a blanket 'NO' by your Web server - with no further discussion allowed, and according to the RFC specifications, with a 403 error code, the request should not be repeated.

So the 403 is given when the system is being accessed properly, but with an illegal request. What is probably happening is you have put the letters CC and a colon (:-D into the body of a message. The letters CC and : together will cause that error. I suspect BCC and a colon will do the same thing. It will not parse those commands in the text of the message, but there is probably a mix-up in the html translation from the text window which is not pure html in any event. It is the same way smileys are handled, as they use colons, for example. You just need to avoid putting the colon : directly next to letters and the 403 error disappears.
Remember, email is an inefficient communications forum. You may not read things the way it was intended. Give people the benefit of the doubt before firing back... Especially if it is ME...! ;)
